Tips : Using Samsung L700 as Modem where empty user name or password on Ubuntu 9.04

If you are using Samsung L700 as modem where user name and password is empty or blank, you are can not connect using dialup tool.

This happen to me.
To solved this problem, I am using as wvdial as connection, and using terminal to connect that.

Setup Internal Modem on PCLinuxOS

My computer using modem pctel. When I install linux PCLinuxOS is not automatically detect my modem. Them I googling. I got driver on this: http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/pctel-0.9.7-9-rht-7.tar.gz
Then extract that file. Run ./setup on root user.
Now My modem is running.

Note : This is installation can show price if we run from KPPP, based on country. so this can help to estimate how much money we spend.
